Just like the weather, salmon fishing starts to heat up in mid to late May. King salmon begin to run and you can feel the excitement for a new season in the air. Our start date varies each year depending on the fish. Typically we offer trips starting late May as the rivers come into shape and the fish arrive. We have a choice of power boat on the Kenai or relaxing drift boat trips on the Kasilof. Halibut fishing also begins to peak in May and is another great option for getting out on the water.
