The Kenai Peninsula in Alaska is a second home to Taylor. For over ten years, he has spent the summer guiding fishing trips on the Kenai River. His extensive knowledge of the river paired with his easy going personality make Taylor a great guide for fishermen of all types. Taylor grew up in beautiful southern Oregon and has been going to Alaska on fishing and hunting expeditions since the age of three. He has always loved spending time on the water or in the woods. His passion for the outdoors made the transition to guiding trips an easy one! It is never a job for him to take a boat full of people out for a morning on the river salmon fishing.
Salmon fishing on the Kenai is always easier if it's a chartered fishing trip. As a guide, Taylor has knowledge of: rules and regulations, equipment and water access, and local attractions. Rules for fishing the Kenai are different than they are anywhere else in the world. Bait limitations, boating restrictions, catch and release policies, and seasonal openings (King, Red, and Silver salmon) are all unique to Alaska. Taylor is well versed in these regulations so you never have to question that you are doing the right thing. He also has top of the line boats and equipment that are comfortable and enable to you have success landing amazing fish. Finally, Taylor can help if you are booking a trip and need ideas for where to stay, eat, or other adventures to add your vacation. He provides a unique value that people new to the area don't have.
